About

Hi, I'm Jess.

I moved to Chelmsford in 2020 and started pet sitting on the side through Rover. That grew into dog walking, then into my own business, and then into the thing I'd been circling the whole time: training.

Where I learned

I worked at a doggy daycare for about a year and a half, walking and training hundreds of dogs of every size and temperament — regulars I came to know well, and new ones most weeks.

I've also been through a dog training school — Pack of Paws Dog Training — where I studied learning theory and the fundamentals of training and was tested on both. I'm certified in canine and feline first aid and CPR, and I'm an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator.

Before dogs

I spent eight years as an account strategist at marketing agencies. It's why I answer the phone and turn up when I say I will.

Whether it's a training program, a backyard agility session, or a walk around the neighborhood, I treat your dog like my own.

Agility with Jax and June

In 2022 I started training in agility and began competing in 2023. With my two Shelties, Jax and June, I've earned titles and awards in agility, fitness, and obedience through AKC and venues like USDAA, UKI and CPE. Agility taught me most of what I know about trust, communication, and patience between a dog and their person.

Jax was my first agility partner. June came after. Between them they've taught me more about patience than any course could. You'll meet them in the videos and probably hear about them in every session.
